Love them or hate them, touch keyboards appear set to make their way onto notebooks. According to Digitimes, Acer is planning an ultra-thin notebook with a touch keyboard for later this year.
To further keep thickness down, Acer will apparently use Corning’s reinforced glass substrate. The back of the panel would be painted and would act as the cover of the notebook.
There are few other details about this ultra-thin notebook but Acer is looking to have it out in the second half of the year.
Personally, I’m not sure I’m quite ready to let go of my physical keyboard…
