Acer Canada has released an update to Android 2.2 for the Acer Liquid e. The update also includes Wi-Fi hotspot support, USB tethering, improved Exchange support, and overall performance improvements. It is available for both Rogers Wireless and FIDO devices.
To download the update, select Smart Handheld > Liquid > Liquid E. Then in the OS drop-down menu, select Android 2.2 Froyo and click on the OS tab.
Note: As with all firmware updates, make sure you back your data up first.
