Rogers Wireless has announced its pricing plans for the Apple iPad. The major difference with the information posted by Apple earlier (and now being corrected) is that Rogers will not offer a $20 (fee or per month?) shared plan where you can add the iPad to an existing data plan.
Here are the plans confirmed by Rogers:
- 250MB per month for CA$15.00 (includes free unlimited access to all Rogers Wi-Fi Hot Spots)
- 5GB per month for CA$35.00 (includes free unlimited access to all Rogers Wi-Fi Hot Spots)
It’s a shame that Rogers will not allow you to share an existing data plan with the Apple iPad. Why is Rogers considering the iPad differently from other devices that can be tethered on many plans?
