WIND Mobile is now open for business (in Toronto at least).
“Today marks a new chapter for wireless in Canada,” said Anthony Lacavera, Chairman of Globalive and WIND Mobile, addressing hundreds of WINDmobile.ca community members who came to witness the unveiling and reveal of the first WIND Mobile store in Canada. “Thank you to the thousands of Canadians who have helped us to build WIND Mobile. We’ve listened to those conversations, and now we’re very proud to announce our offerings as a direct result of all the feedback. WIND is Canada’s company. Built by Canadians, for Canadians.”
At its kickoff press event, it unveiled its device and service plan lineup. Here is a summary of what it offers:

WIND Mobile stores are open today in Toronto and will open later this week in Calgary. It will then launch in Vancouver, Ottawa and Edmonton early next year.
