Samsung will unveil a new device on June 15th. On that day, Samsung will hold the Samsung Unpacked in London, Dubai and Singapore. A rumour today may have shed some light on what device Samsung will announce. It could be a follow-up to the Samsung Omnia possibly to be known as the Omnia II, Omnia 2, or Samsung I8000.
According to GSMArena.com, the Samsung Omnia II will be powered by a Qualcomm processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 with an updated version of the TouchWiz user interface. It will come with GSM connectivity, a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, 150 MB internal memory, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an 8.1MP camera with dual LED flash and capable of VGA video recording at 30fps, a microSD card slot, and a 1500mAh battery. It also features a cubic central button, likely related to the new TouchWiz interface which could be based on a cube-like interface.
Best of all, the Samsung Omnia II could be available within the next three months!
