Following in the footsteps of the Bluetooth SIG, the Wi-Fi Alliance has certified the still-unannounced HTC Mega. The certification document has now been updated and the Mega reference has been replaced by a more cryptic PB74 one. Not that it was done fast enough as a screenshot of the older document was captured by CellPassion.com.
Specification details are scarce but we know that the HTC Mega will come with both cellular and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi connectivity. Rumours also suggest that it could be a device similar to the HTC Touch 3G but running Windows Mobile 6.5.
