The Boy Genius Report has landed details about a number of devices set to be launched by Rogers in the next few months. Some of these have already been announced but there are some new ones as well. Among those is the yet-to-be-announced third generation Apple iPhone. The devices and rumoured prices are:
- The Sony Ericsson C905 which has been delayed from a May 19th launch for CA$249.99 with a three-year Rogers Vision contract (CA$449.99 without a contract)
- The already confirmed HTC Dream and HTC Magic on June 2nd for CA$199.99 with a three-year contract or CA$649.99 without any contract
- The Sony Ericsson EXPERIA X1 on June 30th for CA$249.99 (launch price) with a three-year contract
- The third generation Apple iPhone sometime in July or August.
The new Apple iPhone should launch in Canada on the same day as in the U.S. and will be limited to one per customer at first. Rogers is also looking to secure more stock to avoid the sell-outs it experienced with its previous launch.
Hopefully, earlier rumours of return of the 6GB data plan for CA$30 per month are true as well. One of these phones and that data plan would go nicely together.
