That HTC is working on a follow-up to its first Google Android-powered mobile phone, the G1 offered by T-Mobile, is not a big surprise. And if there was any doubt, pictures, albeit blurry, of the upcoming G2, should put them to rest.
Details are slim but we know that the G2 will be thinner than the G1, will pack a 3.2MP camera, and will come without a QWERTY keyboard.
The HTC G2 made an appearance on the leaked HTC 2009 product roadmap as the Sapphire.
The HTC G2 could be released by T-Mobile as early as mid-May.
