T-Mobile to announce Android G2 on April 21?

T-Mobile

The Boy Genius Report have been invited to a private launch event on April 21st. There are few details but BGR expects that T-Mobile will use the event to announce its second Google Android device, the G2.

Earlier rumours have indicated that the G2 is none other than the HTC Sapphire that appeared on a leaked HTC roadmap earlier this year. It is expected to come with GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 3G connectivity, a touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, a 5MP auto-focus camera, a secondary front-facing VGA camera, and a memory card slot (supporting cards up to 16GB). It should also come with support for the T-Mobile myFaves and T-Zones.

We’ll see on April 21st exactly what T-Mobile is up to.
