Remember that story last week where a Windows Mobile 6.5 device was lost or stolen during MWC? At the time, Microsoft did not appear too worried by the disappearance. It turns out that they had no reason to be concerned. A senior Microsoft employee anonymously confirmed that the entire operating system and all user data were remotely wiped as soon as the theft was reported.
If nothing else, it does prove the value of having the ability to remotely wipe mobile devices.
