HTC might as well publish its 2009 roadmap for all to see. A new leak has revealed new details about devices revealed in previous leaks as well as what appears to be five new models.
The five new devices are the Superstar, Star, Tachi, Chief and Captain. The latter two are Windows Mobile Standard devices. But as WMPoweruser.coms suggests that these could simply be different codenames for the latter four of these. The Superstar is the most intriguing device with its Nvidia AP16 chipset (could this be the nVidia APX Tegra platform?).
No device comes with less than 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM but the majority will come with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. VGA and WVGA devices also make up the bulk of the displays we will see this year with QVGA showing up only on Windows Mobile Standard devices.
Only the Toth, Star and Superstar will ship with Windows Mobile 6.5, suggesting release dates later in the year. The others will all come with Windows Mobile 6.1, suggesting earlier releases.
