Once again, Expansys posted details on its site before the device manufacturer announced it. This time, the device in question is the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 (codename Rachael). The page has since been pulled down but not before the details were revealed in all their glory.
According to the (un)posted specifications, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 will come with a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band (900/2100MHz) HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity, a 4-inch touchscreen display (800 by 400 pixels), A-GPS, 802.11 g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, an 8.1MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash, a microSDHC card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Unlike the XPERIA X1, it looks like the XPERIA X3 will be powered by Google Android 1.5 possibly with a customized user interface.
There is no word yet on availability or pricing.
