Only days after losing a lawsuit and being forced to remove claims of “the most reliable network”, Rogers is suing Bell Mobility over its new ad campaign that claims that “the largest, fastest, and most reliable network.”
Rogers is accusing Bell of exactly what TELUS accused it of: “false or misleading advertising” Rogers wants Bell to stop using the terms “largest,” “fastest,” and “most reliable” in ads for its new wireless network.
“We have evidence to deliver to the court that says they are not more reliable than we are, nor are they faster than we are,” said John Boynton, the chief marketing officer of Rogers Wireless.
Meanwhile, Rogers is back in court for its appeal in the TELUS lawsuit.
