Rogers confirms Nokia N86 coming soon

Rogers Wireless

Yesterday, Rogers issued a press release to tout its own HSPA device line-up in response to Bell and TELUS‘ launches of their HSPA networks. Aside from touting that it offers some 30 HSPA-ready devices, it confirmed that the Nokia N86 would soon become part of that list of devices.

Coming soon to Rogers in time for the holidays is the sleek and stylish Nokia N86 smartphone featuring an impressive 8 megapixel camera and 8GB of onboard memory to store music, movies and photos.

Rogers will offer five smartphones for under CA$100 (with three-year contracts). This line up of “ultimate Webphones” will consist of the BlackBerry Bold 9000 in white, the HTC Magic, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, the LG Eve, and the forthcoming Nokia N86.

The Nokia N86 will be priced at CA$99.99 with a three-year service contract (minimum of CA$45 per month). It will launch “in time for the holidays.”
