The Palm Treo Pro is finally available at Sprint. At one point, it looked like Sprint would be the first U.S. carrier to offer it but with the launch delays experienced, the honour finally went to Alltel.
The Sprint version of the Treo Pro is powered by a 528MHz MSM7501A processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It comes with dual-band CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, a 320×320 touchscreen display, 128MB RAM and 512MB of storage (300MB available), a QWERTY thumb keyboard, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi with one-touch Wi-Fi button, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, built-in GPS, a 2.0MP camera, a microSDHC card slot, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and a 1500mAh battery.
Sprint is offering the Treo Pro for US$199.99 with a two-year contract (with US$100 instant rebate, US$100 mail-in rebate, and either an Everything plan with data or a data plan of at least US$30 per month). It is available from Sprint retail stores and online at www.sprint.com/treopro.
