Palm announced its second webOS device today. The Palm Pixi has been the subject of many rumours in the past mostly as the Eos. It will be headed to Sprint to join its older sibling, the Palm Pre.
The Palm Pixi is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7627 processor. It comes with dual-band CDMA and EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, a 2.63-inch touchscreen display (320 by 400) with a ‘gestures area’ and support for multi-touch, a QWERTY keyboard, 8GB of internal user storage, built-in GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with A2DP, a 2MP camera with fixed-focus and LED flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microUSB connector, and a 1150mAh battery. It measures 55 by 111 by 10.85 millimeters and weighs 99.5 grams (3.51 ounces).
Palm will also offer limited edition back covers for the Palm Pixi. The first collection can now been seen at www.palm.com/artistseries.
