TechCrunch is reporting that Palm is already working on a second webOS phone. According to of their better sources, Palm is “very far along” in the development and it could be available by the end of the year.
Few details are available but it appears to be a smaller form factor that will also run Palm’s new webOS. Whether it has a physical keyboard remains to be seen.
This new device is not meant to be a direct Palm Pre successor but will complement it instead. It will allow Palm to target a different market segment and give customers a bit of choice.
