The Boy Genius Report has landed details about three upcoming BlackBerry devices. All three will apparently be part of the 9000-series family and are GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS devices.
The BlackBerry Onyx and Magnum both will come with GPS, a camera, Wi-Fi (no UMA support), a QWERTY keyboard, and a 480×360 resolution screen. Both are apparently headed to AT&T. It’s not the first time that the Magnum codename has surfaced. In the past, it has been suggested that the Magnum would be the first RIM device to combine a touchscreen with a thumb QWERTY keyboard.
The BlackBerry Driftwood also comes with GPS, a camera and a QWERTY keyboard. It will also come with Wi-Fi with UMA support. There are no details about its display.
The Boy Genius surmises that the Magnum and Driftwood are probably the same device but headed to different carriers.
Meanwhile, the rumoured BlackBerry Gemini could turn out to be an entire device line rather than a single device. It could end up being the codename for a Curve family refresh.
