The HTC Maple was first spotted on a leaked 2009 HTC roadmap but there were few details. Now CNET Germany has landed a new new details and pictures on the device that appears set to succeed the HTC S620 Excalibur (aka the T-Mobile Dash) and HTC Cavalier.
The HTC Maple appears to be a new Windows Mobile Standard device with QWERTY thumb keyboard and trackball (a la BlackBerry) and a 2MP camera. There is no word on specifications but the Maple will come with a new HTC software called Inner Circle which appears to organize contacts and messages based on time of day. For example, work contacts and emails could be filtered out during weekends (I like this feature).
There is still no word on availability or pricing.
