Yesterday, a very blurry picture of a new Motorola handset surfaced. Identified as the Motorola Motus, The Boy Genius Report conjectures that it could be headed to AT&T. Apparently, it will be a “flip”-type device rather than a more traditional keyboard slider. The blurry picture does nothing to shed any light on this.

Today, the specifications were leaked. The Motorola Motus will apparently be powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7201A processor and Google Android with the MOTOBLUR user interface. It will come with quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band (850/1900/2100MHz) WCDMA/HSDPA connectivity, a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a QWERTY keyboard, 256MB RAM, aGPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5MP auto-focus camera with LED flash, a microSD card slot, and a 1,400mAh battery. All in all, the specifications are very similar to those of the Motorola CLIQ, itself a slider.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing.
