We’ve known for a while that Motorola is set to release some Android-powered handsets. One of them is the Morrison which was recently outed in pictures. Now, we have hardware details to go with that.
According to the latest rumours, the Motorola Morrison will be powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor. It will come with quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band (900/1700 or 1900/2100MHz) W-CDMA connectivity, a HVGA (320 by 480) touchscreen display, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM, GPS/A-GPS, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR (and A2DP), a 5MP camera with auto-focus and geo-tagging capabilities, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSDHC card slot (supporting cards up to 32GB), and an accelerometer and magnetometer.
The T-Mobile ‘holiday season’ release date also appears to have been narrowed down to October 21st.
