Motorola A4500 world phone headed to Verizon

A new FCC approval has revealed that a new Motorola mobile phone is headed to Verizon. It has a very similar form factor to the Motorola Q9 family with its QWERTY thumb keyboard. Pictures and documentation of the device show the Verizon branding, confirming the carrier it is headed to.

While all the specifications have not been revealed, the user manual confirms a number of details. The A4500 will be powered by Windows Mobile (6.1 Standard probably) and will come with both CDMA/EV-DO and GSM connectivity. It will also feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a fingerprint scanner, and a microSD card slot.

There is no word on availability and pricing yet.
