More evidence BlackBerry 9630 Tour headed to Bell

More evidence has surfaced that the BlackBerry Tour is headed to Bell. The Boy Genius Report has received pictures of some Bell promotional materials for the upcoming launch.

Details about the specifications support what we already knew. Powered by the BlackBerry OS version 4.7.1, the BlackBerry Tour is a world edition phone supporting quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, single-band (2100MHz) UMTS/HSDPA, and dual-band 1xRTT/EV-DO connectivity. It will also come with a QWERTY thumb keyboard, a 480 by 360 display, GPS, a 3.2MP camera and a microSDHC card slot. There is still no mention of Wi-Fi and these latest leaked documents also do not mention the presence of dual-band 1xRTT/EV-DO connectivity (but one picture shows 1xEV at the top of the display). There is also a chance that the Tour could come with BlackBerry OS 5.0.

There is still no word on pricing (rumours suggest CA$199.99 with a three-year contract) and availability but a summer release is expected
