Back in February, i-mate announced the i-mate 810-F smartphone, a ruggedized device capable of operating in a wide range of temperatures and tolerating high pressure, submersion in water, and extreme shocks. PocketPC Dubai is now reporting that, according to local major retailers, i-mate is getting ready to release it in Dubai.
The i-mate 810-F is powered by a 624MHz PXA processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band HSDPA connectivity, a QVGA touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, 128MB RAM and 2.2GB of built-in storage, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera, digital compass, and an accelerometer.
There is no word yet on pricing and where other than Dubai it will be available.
