New details have come to light about the upcoming Zune HD. Among the new information is a rendering of the device showing a large display at the expense of the four-way d-pad.
According to WMPoweruser.com, it will come with a capacitive, 16:9 aspect ratio OLED screen offering multi-touch support. It will also come with Wi-Fi (with wireless sync), a TV out jack, and possibly an HDMI port as well. It could also play games, including Xbox titles. The new Zune will reportedly come in 16GB and 32GB versions.
With the Zune HD capable of playing HD content (including HDRadio), expect HD content to be launched on the Zune Marketplace.
The Zune HD is expected to launch in the fall. Rumours indicate that it could be launched in a number of countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, China, and Europe. There is no word on pricing yet.
