According to Electronista, Rogers Wireless could be the first North American carrier to offer the HTC Touch2. Rogers would offer it in a number of colours, potentially to include blue and red.
Announced in September with support for European and Asian 3G, it is likely that the Rogers version would support North American 3G bands.
The HTC Touch2, successor to the original HTC Touch, is powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor and Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional with the TouchFLO user interface. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual band HSPA/WCDMA connectivity, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM, built-in GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and A2DP, a 3.2MP camera with fixed focus, a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and a 1100mAh battery.
