TELUS is getting ready to launch the HTC Touch Pro2 and has posted it on their web site as ‘coming soon’. An early look by MobileSyrup.com has revealed an interesting little detail. The TELUS version will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack unlike versions from other carriers which come with a combined mini-USB and headphone jack.
The move, although a surprise, comes on the heels of HTC announcing plans to include a 3.5mm headphone jack on most future devices.
It’s not clear whether HTC will produce two variants of the HTC Touch Pro2 going forward or if they will switch all future production over to the new model with the 3.5mm headphone jack.
