When HTC announced the Android-powered HTC Tattoo earlier this month, it only said that it would be available in Europe in early October. Today, Vodafone became the first carrier to announce that it would offer the HTC Tattoo starting next month.
The HTC Tattoo will be powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor and Google Android with the HTC Sense user interface. It will come with quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band (900/2100MHz) HSPA/WCDMA connectivity, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, built-in GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, mini-USB port, a 3.2MP camera with auto-focus, an FM radio, a digital compass, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and a 1100mAh battery.
There is no word yet on pricing but you can pre-register with Vodafone to get additional information when it becomes available.
