Hints about an upcoming HTC device have apparently been found in the leaked Manila 2.5 (also known as TouchFLO 3D 2.5) source code. The HTC Leo comes with some interesting specifications and WMPowerUser.com suggests that it could be none other than the long-rumoured HTC Omni.
The HTC Leo will apparently be a clamshell design with a WVGA display (16:9 ratio) and an external QVGA display. There is also a suggestion that it could use a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with support for Open GL 2.0 for graphics. There are certainly some similarities to the rumoured HTC Omni which we had heard about back in 2007 but which never saw the light of day.
There is no word on when the HTC Leo could be released (or if it will suffer a fate similar to that of the HTC Omni).
