The HTC HD2 (codename Leo) looks set for an October release courtesy of O2 UK. The revelation comes courtesy of a page from the upcoming October issue of ‘Shop with O2’.
The HTC HD2 is expected to be powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM 8250 Snapdragon processor and Windows Mobile 6.5 with TouchFLO 3D (although the magazine pictures does not shows the standard WM6.5 interface). It will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band (900/2100MHz) HSDPA connectivity, a 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 320MB RAM and 512MB ROM, GPS and A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 5MP camera with auto-focus and dual LED flash, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 1230mAh battery.
Pricing and specific availability details remain unknown at this time although dates of October 12th and 26th are floating around.
