That mysterious Android-powered HTC device spotted last week and suspected to be the HTC Dragon looks like it could be headed to Verizon. According to The Unlockr.com, this CDMA-based variant will be known as the HTC Passion.
The HTC Passion is expected to be an Android version of the HTC HD2 with a Snapdragon processor and Google Android 2.0.
It appears that Verizon is looking to have some user interface consistency among its Android-powered devices, hence the buttons and notification bar that looks similar to that of the Verizon Droid.
Availability details are slim but it appears that Verizon could announce the HTC Passion before the end of the year.
