HTC has confirmed that it will provide Windows Mobile 6.5 updates for the HTC Touch Diamond 2, Touch Pro 2 and HTC Snap. Confirmation was provided during an interview between Lars Christian Weisswange, Regional Director of HTC for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and German site AreaMobile.de.
The update will come with a new version of TouchFLO 3D which is expected to incorporate many elements from the recently introduced HTC Sense interface.
The update will be provided as a free download directly from HTC. It remains unclear though whether the update will be available on October 6th or if it will be released later.
