HTC has revealed via Twitter that the DROID Eris will receive a Google Android upgrade in early 2010.
Droid Eris is getting an update to a newer version of Android early next year. Google Navigation support is coming your way 😉
It’s not clear at this point whether this will be Google Android 1.6, 2.0 or even the upcoming 2.1 but whichever version it is, it will include Google Navigation.
Update: Verizon has confirmed that the update will be to Android 2.0.
