Qualcomm showed off a smartbook at the PT & Network Comm China 2009 tradeshow earlier this week. Qualcomm staff at the booth revealed that the device on display will be offered by Hewlett-Packard in the future. They were not able to provide more specific availability and pricing information.
Only a few details about the device are known at this point. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset and Linux. It will come with a 7-inch display, HSDPA connectivity (with a retractable antenna to strengthen the signal, and a SIM card slot.
