It appears that the recently unveiled HP iPAQ Glisten will be a U.S. exclusive. The original announcement made no mention of distribution in other countries so TamsWMS.com reached out to HP Austria’s press department. The answer suggest that it will not:
Dear Sir,
we are sorry but the HP iPaq Glisten will not be made available in EMEA. It is an US only product.

Is HP pulling out of EMEA permanently or is it waiting for new devices to be introduced in 2010 to reenter the European market? It’s not clear where this leaves Canada but I would not hold my breath.
