HP announced three new models in its HP Mini product line today. The HP Mini 110 XP Edition and the HP Mini 110 Mobile Internet (Mi) Edition are designed for Internet-centric consumers while the HP Mini 1101 is geared towards small and medium-size businesses and frequent business travelers.
All will come with a choice of 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor N270 or 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor N280 processor, 10.1-inch displays (with optional high-definition LED widescreen displays), built-in webcam and microphone. In terms of additional specifications, the following has been announced:
- The HP Mini 110 XP Edition will support up to 1GB RAM, either a 32GB SSD or 160GB hard drive, and an optional WWAN module. In July, an optional Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator will also be offered.
- The HP Mini 110 Mi Edition will be powered by Linux and will support up to 2GB RAM and a hard drive as large as 250GB.
- The HP Mini 1101 will offer a number of operating system choices. It will also come with a choice of 3-cell or 6-cell batteries, and an optional integrated HP Mobile Broadband module.
The Mini 110 will be available in Pink Chic, Black Swirl or White Swirl HP Imprint finishes while the Mini 1101 will come only in a Black Swirl design.
The HP Mini 110 XP Edition and the Mini 110 with Mi will start at US$329.99 and US$279.99 respectively and will be available starting on June 10th. The HP Mini 1101 will be available on June 1st and will start at US$329.
