A tweet from Globalive indicates that the company will launch with two wireless brands rather than the expected single one:
“B/c of your feedback we’ll be launching 2 wireless brands, more choice for CDN’s.”
No other details are given but it’s likely that Globalive will follow in the footsteps of the big three carriers (Bell, Rogers, TELUS). Each of these carriers has a value brand (or two in Bell’s case) aimed at a different customer segment from their main brands.
The Canadian wireless landscape is getting more interesting by the day.
