Nokia outlined the full specifications of its upcoming Booklet 3G during Nokia World. When announced shortly before Nokia World, it had only provided a quick overview.
Now we know that the Nokia Booklet 3G will be powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor and a choice of Windows 7 Starter Edition, Home Premium or Professional. It will come with a 10.1-inch display (1280 by 720 pixel resolution), 1GB RAM, a 120GB 4200RPM hard drive, built-in aGPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and a front-facing 1.3MP camera with integrated microphone. It will also come with HDMI 1.2 output, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 16-cell battery promises to deliver up to 12 hours of operation.
An optional 3G/HSPA module will come with either tri-band (850/1900/2100MHz) or dual-band (900/2100MHz) WCDMA/HSPA connectivity depending on where it is offered.
Made from a single piece of machined aluminum, it will measure 264 by 185 by 19.9 millimeters and weigh 1.25 kilograms. It will be available in black, white, or blue.
The Nokia Booklet 3G will be available in October and will sell for €575 (about USD825).
