Nokia has released a significant ROM upgrade for the European version of the Nokia E71. ROM version MCU SW 200.21.118 comes with new features as well as a slew of fixes and enhancements. These include:
- The addition of Internet Radio and My Nokia applications
- Improved battery life
- User experience improvements like an improved device lock and a mute option in the right soft key when using a headset
- New black and red themes
- Stability and functionality improvements for the QWERTY keyboard, browser, messaging, VOIP / SIP, and the camera

It’s expected that a North American version of the ROM update will follow shortly.
Note: The update will replace the current ROM image and will erase partnership and all user data and programs on your device. Be sure to back everything up before you start.
