LG has launched a contest to define the future of personal mobile communication.
Predict what’s next. What do you think mobile phones should look like in 2, 5, or 10 years? We are asking for your help. We’re NOT looking for a long list of specs or phone ideas that already exist. We’re looking for a cool new concept or “big idea” supported by usage scenario illustrations.
Your contest entry will be judged on how well it addresses general consumer needs and frustrations, its WOW or game-changing characteristics, whether it can be built with current or near-future technology, and its aesthetic appeal.
The first prize is US$20,000, second is US$10,000, and third is US$5,000. There are also 40 awards of US$1,000 and an LG phone. Unfortunately, the contest is only open to U.S. residents (citizen or green card holder) age 18 (or age of majority in state of residence) and older.
