As expected, Bell Mobility launched its HSPA network and a suite of new devices to take advantage of it today. Among the new devices are the Apple iPhone 3GS and 3G, the Samsung OMNIA II, and the BlackBerry Bold 9700.
The Apple iPhone 3GS will sell for CA$199.95 and CA$299.95 for the 16GB and 32GB models respectively with three-year contracts. The Apple iPhone 3G will sell for CA$99.95, again with a three-year plan. Plans start at CA$45 per month (100 anytime minutes with Local Fab Five, 500MB of data and unlimited evenings and weekends after 2100) and run up to CA$95 per month (500 anytime minutes with Nationwide Fab Five, 2GB of data and unlimited evenings and weekends after 2100).
The Samsung OMNIA II, a Bell exclusive for at least a small period of time, will sell for CA$199.95 with a three-year contract. It is also available on a two-year plan (CA$399.95), one-year plan ($499.95) and without contract for CA$549.95. Plans start at CA$45 per month with 100 local minutes (with free options such as 50 bonus local minutes, unlimited text or Fab Five), 500MB of data and unlimited evenings and weekends after 2100.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 will sell for CA$229.95 with a three-year contract. It is also available on a two-year plan (CA$449.95), one-year plan ($549.95) and without contract for CA$599.95.
