AT&T launches Motorola Karma

AT&T has announced the upcoming Motorola Karma, its latest quick messaging and social networking phone. The Motorola Karma QA1 is described as a curvy and compact messaging device that lets you express yourself the way you want, whether you text, blog, tweet or talk.

The Motorola Karma comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band (850/1900MHz) HSDPA connectivity, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2.5-inch QVGA display, 100MB of internal memory, built-in aGPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 2MP camera, a microSD slot (supporting cards up to 16GB), and a 1170 mAh battery. It also features homescreen access to both Facebook and MySpace.

The Motorola Karma will be available starting on June 28th at select AT&T stores or at www.wireless.att.com. It will sell for US$79.99 after mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement (with voice plan of at least US$39.99 and data plan of US$20 per month).
