At CeBIT, ASUS unveiled its latest Eee PC, the 1008HA or the Seashell. As its nickname implies, the form factor is curvier and thinner than earlier designs. ASUS describes it as the embodiment of refined mobile computing.
ASUS did not reveal all the specifications but so far we know that it will sport a 92-percent scale keyboard, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.75G and WiMAX options, and a 1.3MP camera. About an inch thick, it will weigh about 1.1 kilograms.
With the Eee PC 1008HA, ASUS also unveiled Eee Sharing which allows users to synchronize messages and documents across different computers and Eee Arena which offers access to thousands of songs, videos, radio stations, games, magazines and more.
More details on the 1008HA will be revealed when it is launched later in the spring. Pricing will also be revealed then.
