With Apple not planning to attend Macworld 2010, there has been a lot of speculation that Apple would instead attend CES 2010. It would appear now that this will not be the case. CES organizers have confirmed that Apple has not registered to attend the event to date.
While registrations take place right up to the start of the event, the larger exhibitors generally book their floor space about a year in advance. Instead, Apple will likely hold its own special events as it does for major iPod and iTunes announcements.
