As reported earlier, Palm and Alltel announced today that Alltel Wireless is now offering the Palm Treo Pro. And given that Sprint is only launching the Treo Pro on March 15th, Alltel wins the all-important bragging rights for being the first U.S. carrier to offer the Treo Pro.

A connectivity, a 320×320 touchscreen display, 128MB RAM and 512MB of storage (300MB available), a QWERTY thumb keyboard, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi with one-touch Wi-Fi button, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, built-in GPS, a 2.0MP camera, a microSDHC card slot, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and a 1500mAh battery.
Alltel is offering the Treo Pro for US$199.99 with selected plans (and including a US$195 online discount and US$125 mail-in rebate).
