Only yesterday, Rogers resurrected its 6GB data plan for CA$30 per month but only for its new Google Android devices (and only until July 1st). Now comes word that it is set to unveil a 15GB data plan on June 16th.
The new plan would cost CA$150 per month and would be available for all phones (including the iPhone, Blackberries, HTC devices, smartphones, and Mobile Internet Sticks). Tethering would also be allowed. Overage would cost CA$0.01 per additional MB. It will reportedly available on all contract lengths from monthly to three years.
Today, Rogers Wireless’ top data plan (aside from the current 6GB/$CA30 promotion) is a 5GB plan for CA$80. The new plan would offer three times as much data at (only) twice the cost.
