We’ve known for a while that Acer will shortly release a 10-inch version of its Acer One netbook. Blogeee.com has landed pictures of this upcoming netbook as well as details about the specs.
The Acer Aspire One 103 will be powered by a 1.6GHz Atom processor and Windows XP Home. It will come with a 10.1-inch display, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, an optional 3G module, one SDHC expansion card slot (unlike the Aspire One which had two), and a webcam.
While the form factor shares many similarities with the original Acer Aspire One, there are some differences as well. The touchpad now has the buttons below it rather than on the side and there is a new hinge. The bottom also features three easily removable panels to provide easy access to the hard drive, memory and the optional 3G module.
The Acer Aspire One 103 could sell for as low as US$399.
