YouTube for Mobile got its official debut late last week with a a new and improved mobile website, m.youtube.com. Previously available only for specific devices, the new portal allows a much wider selection of mobile devices to use the service.
The new portal features millions of videos (including most of the videos already available on YouTube.com), access to your YouTbe account, support for mobile uploads with videos apparing within moments of being uploaded, and localization for new countries including Canada, the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and others.
A beta version of Java of the YouTube for Mobile downloadable application is also available in US and UK English for the Sony-Ericsson k800 and w880 and the Nokia e65, n95, n73, 6110 navigator and 6120 classic devices.
