Asus finally released a version of its Eee PC this week running on Windows XP. The Eee PC 4G-X features the same specifications as the 4G model but rather than running Linux comes with Windows XP Home Edition.
Available in either black or white, the Eee PC 4G-X also comes bundled with a 4GB SDHC card (a good move given that XP is probably taking up much more of that 4GB SSD than Linux does), an optical mouse and free access to the NTT WiFine hotspot network.
The Eee PC 4G-X was only released in Japan but it is expected to land in the US as early as next month. It will sell for about ¥50,000 (about USD$465).
