Verizon Wireless announced today that the RIM BlackBerry Storm will be available starting on November 21st at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores as well as online at www.verizonwireless.com. As suspected, the pricing revealed earlier this week is incorrect. Verizon will offer the BlackBerry Storm for USD$199.99 9 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year service contract.
The BlackBerry Storm 9530 supports both CDMA and GSM. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, single-band UMTS/HSPA and EV-DO Rev.A connectivity. It also comes with a 3.25-inch 480 by 360 touchscreen display (with tactile feedback and autorotation), a full QWERTY thumb keyboard in landscape mode and SureType keyboard in portrait mode, 1GB onboard memory and 128MB flash memory, built-in AGPS, a 3.2MP camera with auto-focus and flash, and an SDHC microSD card slot (8GB card included).
